LG are the latest manufacturer to release approximate prices for their upcoming 3D TV range. LG models are due a UK release in May 2010.

LG LX9900 47″ 3D TV will be priced between £2500 and £3000
LG LX9900 55″ 3D TV will be priced between £3600 and £4000

So, not cheap – but around the same sort of ballpark as the Sony range. Samsung, however, are likely to pitch their range cheaper than their main rivals.

June 10th. That’s the magic date – the date that Sony launch their 3D TV range in Japan. Worldwide launch is expected to be, quote,  “about the same time”. Sony’s range includes the awesome Sony Bravia KDL-52HX903 3D TV and the doubly awesome Sony Bravia KDL-60LX903 3D TV. No pricing details yet, and no pre-order links, but as usual we’ll bring them to you as soon as we can!

The expected April 2010 launch of LG’s flagship 3D TV, the LD360, has now been cancelled. The LD360 is a 47″ LED TV and was expected to be here in time for the launch of Sky’s upcoming 3D TV service.
It is now looking highly likely that Samsung will remain unchallenged in the 3D TV arena for several weeks, if not months, when (if) they launch their range as expected in March.
