The Samsung UE40C700 3D TV is now available to buy. The best price that I can find currently is for a complete 3D Bundle at John Lewis – get the 40″ 3D TV, Samsung BD-C6900 3D Blu Ray player and 2 pairs of active shutter 3D glasses for £2,148! Thats a saving of £149 on their individual selling prices.

Finally, 3D TV’s have arrived and are available to order. Comet currently have the Samsung PS50C7000KXXU 50″ 3D TV available to order for £1599.99. This model uses PLASMA technology. Requires 3D Glasses, sold seperately. Further details to follow!

Boooo! Samsung’s range of 3D TVs are now available to order – but only if you hail from Stateside. Amazon.com now list the Samsung UN55C7000 and UN46C7000 on their site. I can only hope and pray that the Amazon.co.uk will follow suit very soon.

Further to announcements regarding the imminent launch of Samsung’s first 3D TV in March (the 40C7000), Samsung have also announced it’s 3D-ready Blu Ray player, the BD-C6900.
Not much information available at present. Expect it to retail at around $399, so around £270-£300? More details as we get them.

3D TV is finally here. The first model to launch is the SAMSUNG 40C7000. To counteract the inevitable lack of “real” 3D material at this stage, the 40C7000 has a clever “2D-3D” processing engine that will upgrade standard images to 3D. Clearly, you can’t expect this upscaling to be as good as properly mastered 3D material, but at least it’s something until 3D Blu Ray’s and Sky’s 3D channel launch in the coming months.
